  • 9:00 am Kids Triathlon (Versluis Park – Directions)
  • 10:00 am – 11:00 am: Swim Practice (Versluis Park – Directions) – water closes at 11:00 AM sharp
  • 11:30 am Full Iron Race Meeting* Full Distance Only (Wolverine YMCA)
  • 12:00 pm – 4:00pm: EXPO (Wolverine YMCA – Directions)
  • 12:00 pm – 4:00pm: Athlete Check-In / Packet Pick-up (Wolverine YMCA)
  • 12:30 pm: Race Meeting* – All Events (Wolverine YMCA)
  • 1:00 pm – 5:00pm: Transition Open / Bike Drop Off (Versluis Park)
  • 1:30 pm: Race Meeting* – All Events (Wolverine YMCA)
  • 2:30 pm: Race Meeting* – All Events (Wolverine YMCA)
  • 3:30 pm: Race Meeting* – All Events (Wolverine YMCA)
  • 5:00 pm: Transition Closes
  • 5:00 pm: Venue Closes

***MANDATORY FOR ALL FULL/HALF DISTANCE ATHLETES***:   Pre-race meetings – all athletes participating in a Full or Half Distance event must attend these in order to gain access to transition and participate in our event.

Full Only (includes full iron duathlon/relays/aquabikes) pre-race meeting: 11:30 am

Half and Olympic distances pre-race meeting: 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, and 3: 30 pm (also any Full that cannot make the 11:30 am meeting are welcome to attend one of these)

***ATHLETE EQUIPMENT DROP-OFF***: All athletes are able to drop their equipment off the day before the race at Versluis Park during the hours of 1:00-5:00 pm. YOU MUST HAVE A WRISTBAND TO ENTER TRANSITION AND DROP OFF EQUIPMENT THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE AT THE MANDATORY PRE-RACE MEETING.

***IMPORTANT 2018 TIMING NEWS – PLEASE READ***:   SportStats USA will be handling the timing of the Michigan Titanium. They will be assigning chips to athletes as they pick up their race packet. Unlike years past, timing chips WILL NOT be in race packets.  Because of this, you will be unable to pick up your packet on race day and have a timing chip in the packet. IF YOU SHOW UP ON RACE DAY TO PICK UP YOUR PACKET YOU WILL NOT HAVE A TIMING CHIP ASSIGNED TO YOU.  Race day Packet Pick-up/Chip Assignment will only be made for exceptional cases and with advance arrangements made. No one but YOU can pick up your packet. You must show a valid picture ID and USAT card (if you are an annual member). There will be NO exceptions to this rule. As a sanctioned USAT race, we CANNOT allow an exception to this rule.

We will take new registrations at packet pickup, however, there is NO RACE DAY registration or packet pick up!.

USAT Waiver (PDF) Print ahead of time and bring to Packet Pick-up. There will be hard copies on site.

Please Note:

There will be strict adherence to the above cutoff times.  Unfortunately, any athlete not meeting one of the cutoffs will not be permitted to proceed and will need to be removed from the course.  We appreciate your cooperation if we need to enforce this rule.

Need your bike shipped?

If you need to have your bike shipped to the Grand Rapids area for race day, Raceday Transport has partnered with the USAT to provide shipping of your bike. Contact them for further information.


Out of town participants can have their bike shipped to Grand Rapids Bicycle Company, the official bike sponsor of the Michigan Titanium. . Just give them a call to reserve your spot before shipping your equipment!
